Homeworld Remastered

If you're a fan of real-time strategy games and this one passed you by, you really missed out. Homeworld’s epic, lovingly designed worlds combined with a rich lore and an engaging narrative, leading to larger than life space battles with outcomes you really cared about. The sequel was also a huge critical success, expanding on everything that made the original so great.

It’s a good thing, then, that Gearbox Software is bringing us Homeworld: remastered, an HD remake of the first two games. and based on what we’ve seen so far, the new depth of field and remarkably pretty lighting effects are set to improve what was already something of a looker back in its day.

Of course, if you weren't already tempted enough to enjoy two HD remakes of critically acclaimed games, remastered will also offer the original versions for you to play. But don’t be so stuck in the past, you big square…
