If a newly-revealed opening cinematic is to believed, the next entry in the fighting franchise is going all dark on us. This being Tekken, there’s still a thick layer of ‘90s-aping dance music to enliven proceedings, but it’s pretty obvious instalment number seven will bring a conclusion to the turbulent saga of the Mishima clan.
The trailer featured the debut of Kazumi Mishima (mum of Kazuya, wife of Heihachi) whether she’ll be a playable character still remains to be seen, though. A recent issue of Japanese games mag Famitsu also showed off the first shots of new boy Shaheen kicking ass in-game. So excite.
