The seminal ultra violent fighting series is set to return next year for its tenth official outing, and there’s good reason to pay attention. The new characters are great fun to play and, along with the returning cast of characters (who are being slowly announced and rolled out as we speak), are each given multiple fighting styles and move-sets from which to select, increasing the level of strategy and shifting the tried and tested gameplay. Plus, Mortal Kombat X will feature a yet to be fully unveiled persistent online experience.
